Since 2016, we’ve collaborated with Horizn Studios to develop premium travel products. Our first project was the M5 trolley bag, featuring a functional front pocket and high-performance materials.
Tackling Material Challenges
Our first project with Horizn Studios involved creating the front pocket for the M5 trolley, a flagship product in their smart travel lineup. This required bonding waterproof nylon and EVA, a combination that initially posed challenges. We encountered surface bubbling and detachment due to incompatibility with eco-friendly adhesives. Determined to resolve this, we collaborated with material suppliers for two months, ultimately developing a customized adhesive tailored to these materials. To ensure durability, we invested in advanced testing equipment, subjecting the M5 to extreme conditions like -20°C cold and +60°C with 90% humidity. This relentless commitment to quality as a backpack and bag manufacturer helped the M5 achieve standout performance in the competitive travel gear market.
